These Terms of Service govern your use of madeeasy.academy and all subdomains, pages, quiz banks, practice labs, downloads, and digital products we provide (together, the "Services"). The Services are operated by AEM Publishing LLC, doing business as Made Easy Academy ("we," "us," "our").

By using the Services or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase from us. By purchasing, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

2. What We Provide

We publish independent exam preparation and study materials, including digital study guides, cheat sheets, workbooks, practice question banks, simulation exams, printable templates, and print books. Our materials are study aids. They are not a substitute for coursework, clinical training, or the official materials of any certifying body. Please see our Disclaimers, which are incorporated into these Terms.

3. Your License

When you purchase a digital product, we grant you a limited, non exclusive, non transferable, non sublicensable license to use that product for your own personal study. You may print a copy for your own use.

You may not:

• Reproduce, resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lend, or give away our materials, in whole or in part.

• Share, publish, or post our materials, access codes, passwords, download links, or quiz bank credentials with or to anyone else, including on file sharing sites, study note marketplaces, cloud drives, social media, group chats, or course pages.

• Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notice, watermark, branding, or attribution.

• Create derivative works from our materials, or use them to build a competing product.

• Use our materials, in whole or in part, to train, fine tune, or ground any machine learning or artificial intelligence system.

• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or use automated means to access or copy the Services.

• Access any portion of the Services you did not purchase, or attempt to circumvent access codes, passwords, paywalls, or other technical controls.

This license terminates automatically if you breach these Terms.

4. Access Codes, Passwords, and Availability

Some products include access to online components such as quiz banks, practice labs, and simulation exams. Access codes and passwords are provided for your personal use only. We may revoke access if we reasonably believe a code or password has been shared or misused.

We aim to keep online components available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Third party platforms we rely on may change, go down, or discontinue service. We may modify, replace, retire, or discontinue any product or online component at any time. Where a component is retired, we will make a reasonable effort to provide an equivalent replacement to affected buyers, but we are not obligated to do so indefinitely.

5. Purchases, Pricing, and Delivery

Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change. We do not price match, and price changes do not apply retroactively to completed orders. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

Payments are processed by third party providers, including Payhip, Stripe, and PayPal. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Your use of a payment provider is subject to that provider's terms.

Digital products are delivered electronically, usually immediately after purchase, by download link, access page, or email. It is your responsibility to provide a working email address and to download your files promptly. If delivery fails, contact us at hello@madeeasy.academy and we will resend.

6. Refunds

Please see our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

7. Purchases Made Through Other Platforms

We also sell through third party marketplaces and retailers, including Etsy, Lulu, and others. Purchases made on those platforms are governed by that platform's terms, policies, and refund rules, not by ours. If you bought from a marketplace, contact that marketplace for order, delivery, and refund issues.

8. Emails and Communications

If you subscribe to our list, you agree to receive emails from us about our products, resources, and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We may still send you transactional messages related to a purchase, such as delivery and receipt emails.

9. Our Intellectual Property

All content on the Services, including text, questions, explanations, layouts, graphics, templates, branding, and the names Made Easy Academy, Made Easy, Simply Said, Make It Make Sense, and Therapy at a Glance, is owned by AEM Publishing LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

10. Third Party Trademarks

Exam names, credential names, and organization names referenced on the Services are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or sponsored by any certifying body or testing organization.

11. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, contact us at hello@madeeasy.academy with a description of the work, the location of the material, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized. We will review and respond.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services and all materials are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be error free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, exam outcomes, certification outcomes, or employment outcomes, arising from or related to the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability or exclusions of implied warranties. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, and nothing in these Terms limits rights you have that cannot be waived.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AEM Publishing LLC, its owners, and its contractors from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third party right.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you breach these Terms or misuse our materials. Sections covering license restrictions, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The version posted here is the version in effect. Material changes apply going forward, not retroactively to completed purchases. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you consent to that jurisdiction. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking relief in small claims court.

17. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Disclaimers, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding the Services.
